New Housewife alert: Potomac

Meet Courtney Ajinça: RHOP’s Newest Housewife Is Ready to Shake Up Potomac

There’s a new Housewife in Potomac — and Courtney Ajinça is arriving with quite the résumé.

Courtney officially joined The Real Housewives of Potomac as a full-time Housewife for Season 11, which premiered October 11 on Bravo. She enters a cast packed with familiar faces, including Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch and Tia Glover.

But Courtney is far from a stranger to the Bravo universe.

So, Who Is Courtney Ajinça?

Courtney is an internationally known celebrity event designer who has spent more than a decade creating elaborate events for high-profile clients in sports and entertainment.

She has also appeared on television before, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Married to Medicine and VH1’s My Celebrity Dream Wedding.

And event planning is only part of her story.

Courtney is a Harvard graduate and licensed minister who has spoken openly about the importance of faith in her life. She’s originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and now lives in the Potomac area.

Meet the Ajinça Family

Courtney is married to former NBA player Alexis Ajinça, who currently serves as an assistant coach for the Washington Wizards.

The couple married in Paris and spent years moving throughout the United States and overseas during Alexis’ professional basketball career before eventually settling in the DMV area.

Together, they share two sons, Carter and Caysen.

How Does She Know the Potomac Ladies?

Courtney enters the group through her friendship with Tia Glover — but being connected to one Housewife certainly doesn’t guarantee an easy introduction to the rest of Potomac.

Bravo teased Courtney’s Season 11 journey as one of trying to build new relationships while balancing her family, faith and growing ambitions.

And, naturally, questions surrounding the newcomer begin almost immediately.

Because this is Potomac. Nobody simply walks into this group without being investigated.

Has Bravo Found Its Next Breakout Housewife?

On paper, Courtney has plenty of ingredients for a great Housewife: an interesting career, a high-profile marriage, an established connection to the group, previous reality-TV experience and a life that exists well beyond the show.

Now comes the real test.

Can she hold her own when the Potomac ladies start asking questions?

Season 11 has officially begun, and Courtney Ajinça is one newbie we’ll definitely be watching.

Welcome to Potomac, Courtney. 🌸🥂

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays on Bravo, with episodes streaming the following day on Peacock.
